I’m so glad I stumbled across this recipe, I’ve tried many different potato soup recipes, this one is by far the best & easiest. My kids LOVED it and so did I. Served Hawaiian sweet rolls with it! I will be making this regularly.

This soup was SO good. So creamy and delicious, I didn’t even add sour cream to top it. Include fresh slices of French bread and it’s the perfect cold weather soup. Definitely going to be making this again.

I took a gamble on this soup since I steer away from cream o’ soups as much as possible. Now it has turned into one of our favorite soups! The soup is wonderfully garlicky and hearty. I sometimes like to garnish with bacon, green onions, and/or sour cream, but it is just as good without all that. The recipe is also easy to increase, which is nice. It is great comfort food!

It was good but felt like it was missing something, maybe some spices or something. I’ll definitely make again and maybe experiment with adding some different things to “kick it up a notch”. Love the concept of using a cream of potato soup and 2 kinds of cheeses as the starting point.

This soup was terrific and I didn’t expect it to be quite as good as it was. Dummy me, I sent a text to my husband to pick up the ingredients on the way home. I told him 2 cans of Potato Soup, not 3. I wanted to blame him, but alas the proof was there! Anyway, I used one can of Cream of Mushroom soup to cover my mistake. It turned out just great. I also added cayenne as some of us like things hotter here in Texas. Also, we toasted some Italian Bread and my husband buttered and sprinkled it with garlic powder. Then we place a piece in the bottom of the bowl, poured the soup over and couldn’t believe how good it was. I used the red potatoes as that was what I had in the pantry. This is a really quick soup and so easy to make. I will be making this a lot. My husband and I felt bacon pieces on top would be great too. Thanks Rachael.
