I love the idea of coffee and chocolate chips! I wish I’d read the reviews about cutting the amount of chocolate chips. 2 c. is way too many chocolate chips for this amount of dough– it wouldn’t actually hold together when I tried to incorporate even just 1.5 c. Otherwise, though, a cinch to make and really tasty (and I mixed in some white chocolate chips, because that’s what I had on hand, which was a tasty flavor combination)

I absolutely loved these cookies! As a coffee and chocolate lover, there was just the right amount of balance of each. I especially loved extra flavor of the drizzled icing. Thank you so much!

These were incredible! I made these to take to a church potluck. I knew when I sampled the cookie dough that I’d be lucky to keep them safe before then! The plate made to the potluck and everyone raved over them. I’ve already promised to make a double batch in a couple weeks!
I used 1/2 C of hazelnuts instead of the pecans (which I think have a better flavor especially with coffee!), but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. I was concerned because it looked like very little dough. But the nuts and chocolate chips added to it.

omg. i made these cookies last night and they are so delicious! i’m trying not to eat them for breakfast but i think i’ve already sort of failed…i halved the chocolate chips and didn’t do the glaze but they were still sweet enough. i love the coffee flavor in the background – there’s just enough to taste and complement the chocolate but overpower in flavor. thanks a bunch! i’ll definitely make these again.

Easy cookies that take just enough sweet out of chocolate chip cookies. Yummy!

I love this recipe! I altered it slightly by using walnuts instead of pecans, and I using less choc chips. I wasn’t sure how big to make the cookies but I realized they spread for fun so next time I will get more from the recipe! They taste amazing, quite crispy on the edges, maybe I can take them out a bit earlier next time.

I made them for a company luncheon that I agreed to provide desserts for. I cut the chocolate chips by half but I love how it tastes like a chocolate chip cookie that’s sort of not sweet. Pretty perfect!

I made these today and they are sooo good! Nice and chocolatey and good subtle coffee flavor. Giving them as Christmas gifts!

Just wondering…In other baking recipes, I’ve put my coffee grinder on extra fine setting and used regular ground french roast before in place of the instant. Can you think of a reason why this wouldn’t work in these cookies? They sure look and sound to die for.

OH MY WORD, these cookies are the bomb! I followed the recipe exactly and would not change a thing. I know some women who are going to be very happy Monday morning at the office, that is if I don’t eat them all first!! Thanks so much for an excellent recipe, will make again for sure!
