These cookies are addictive. That’s a bad thing. Especially when you take a look at the ingredients below. It takes skill to resist eating 20 of these cookies.
You can make these cookies with just the chocolate coating, but you can really dress these cookies up. I like add toasted almond slices on top of the chocolate, or sprinkles, coconut, anything your heart desires.
Mix first three ingredients together. Shape the dough into 2 inch logs and place on un-greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees until a light golden color, approximately 10 minutes. Cool completely.
Melt chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave. You can add Crisco to make the chocolate more drippy. Dip half of the cookie in the chocolate at an angle.
Place on a rack to dry. If you want to add your toppings, add them quickly, right after you dip the cookie in the chocolate.
