Mmm Chocolate and banana. And super easy.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine first 5 ingredients in bowl, cut in butter with a pastry blender until crumbly.
Add bananas in after the butter and squish them around a bit to get them mixed in with the flour mixture.
Stir in buttermilk and choc chips until flour well blended. (if super sticking sprinkle w/ a little flour)
Turn dough onto floured surface and knead four or five times. Pat until about 1/2 inch thick.
Either cut into wedges for big scones or use a small juice glass to make cut out smaller scones.
Place 1/2 inch apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes until very lightly browned around the edges.
