Description

I like my cookies soft, not crunchy. These are soft and yummy!

Ingredients

  • ⅔ cups Shortening
  • ⅔ cups Butter, Softened
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 3 teaspoons Vanilla (use Mexican)
  • 3-½ cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 12 ounces, weight Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix thoroughly the shortening, butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Roll dough into balls and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned.
