This soup is just delicious. It’s creamy with a hint of sweet from the carrots … just wonderful! I found this recipe in our local newspaper and was not disappointed!
In a large pot, brown beef and onions over medium/high heat for approximately 5-10 minutes, till meat is no longer pink.
Add water, carrots and seasonings. Cover and simmer for one hour.
To make the sauce, combine margarine or butter and milk with flour slowly. Add salt and pepper. Mix the sauce and soup together. Garnish with grated parmesan.
Serve with French bread. Yum!
