A bit spicy potato soup to warm you up on those cold days.
In a 3-qt. saucepan, combine au gratin potato mix, corn, tomatoes and water; mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15-18 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Add milk, cheese, and any optionals (see below) wanted except instant potato flakes. Cook and stir until cheese is melted. Add potato flakes to thicken if desired.
Opionals: dash of hot pepper, parsley flakes, mushrooms and/or instant potato flakes (to thicken).
