This is a spicy and lemony vegetarian variation of the classic Italian Wedding Soup; the lemon ring on top makes it look very elegant in the bowl.
In a large pot, sauté the garlic and hot pepper flakes (if using) in olive oil until garlic is just starting to brown. Add broth and bring to a boil. Add orzo; simmer until it is just done (check the directions on the package). Add greens and simmer for 2 minutes more.
Remove from heat and stir in the juice of half a lemon; slice the other half into 6 thin rings and set aside. To serve, divide soup among 6 bowls, sprinkle each bowl with Parmesan cheese and place a lemon ring to one side. Drizzle a little chili sauce over part of the lemon ring and serve.
