Savory Parmesan Oatmeal is a deliciously easy way to switch up your breakfast routine!
In a medium pot, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add oats, a dash of salt, and stir. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for about 5–7 minutes, or until oats are soft and most of the liquid is absorbed. Set aside.
Cook sausage according to package directions. Set aside.
In a small skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Fry or cook eggs sunny-side up until desired consistency.
Pour oatmeal into a bowl. Top with sausage patties, egg, and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Serve immediately.
