Description

As soon as you take the first bite, they’re soft and chewy. Then you taste the creamy goodness of the caramel and vanilla chips together with a hint of cinnamon. It’s like a swirling cloud of flavors doing a delicate dance in your mouth.

Ingredients

  • 2-¼ cups Flour
  • 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Saigon Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoons Nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Butter
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Brown Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 2 teaspoons Madagascar Vanilla
  • ½ packages (11-12 Oz. Package) Kraft Caramel Bits (Frozen)
  • 1 package (11-12 Oz. Package) Hershey’s White Chips (Frozen)

Preparation

1. Add flour, oats, salt, Saigon cinnamon, nutmeg and baking soda to a large mixing bowl. Use the old fashioned oats, not instant oats. Mix together and set aside.

2. Mix butter, sugar and brown sugar together in the mixer until creamy.

3. Add eggs, honey and vanilla to the butter mixture. Mix until creamy.

4. Add the flour mixture and mix until creamy.

5. Add caramel bits and white chips to the cookie dough. Make sure that the caramel and white chips are frozen. This keeps them from melting too much when the cookies are baked.

6. Roll cookie dough into small balls, about a teaspoon size. Put balls on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes.

7. Cool cookies on a cooling rack or aluminum foil.

Put on a plate and enjoy!
