Fun vegan weekend family breakfast. Kids love it, and adults, too. All different types of fruit can be substituted for the pears.
Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly butter a round baking dish.
In a large bowl, toss pears with the spices. Add to the baking dish.
Mix together flour, oats, and brown sugar. Cut butter in small pieces and add to the mixture. Spread oat mixture evenly over the pears.
Bake until fruit is tender, juices are bubbly and topping is crisp, about 35 minutes.
Notes:
1. You can also toss the pears with some white sugar.
2. You can prepare everything at night, and then bake in the morning.
