This simple recipe, which can easily be changed to suit the time of the year, is especially fitting for the holidays. The chocolatey cookies are filled with chocolate mint candies and white chocolate chips.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine flour, cocoa, and baking soda in a bowl.
In another bowl, beat butter, both sugars, and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Mix in chocolate chips and m&ms.
Drop tablespoonfuls of batter onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for approximately 10 minutes.
Note: the mint m&ms can be replaced with different mint candies, chocolate chips, or other types of m&ms. I used the holiday-colored mint m&ms to give the cookies a festive feel, but for other times of the year, use whatever you’ve got.

My 10 year old said these were the best cookies she’s EVER had. We used white chocolate chips as that’s all we had. Delicious!
