Individual breakfast in a cup with an endless variety of fillings made the way you like them. With a hint of maple syrup and butter crust.
This recipe is for 4. Make as many as you like!
Preheat oven to 400º. Grease or spray 4 muffin tins.
Take you sandwich bread and roll it flat with a rolling pin. Mix together melted butter and maple syrup. Brush over one side only of bread. Place, syrup side down, into muffin tins until bread is molded into muffin tin shape. Sprinkle with bacon bits and shredded cheese, about 1 tablespoon of each. Carefully crack an egg over top. You can also scramble an egg and pour it over top. Salt and pepper to taste. Loosely tent with foil over the top of the muffin pan and bake for 15 minutes. Check eggs to see if white has hardened but yolk is still soft. Enjoy!
