Description

Here’s a way to make 7 different kinds of cookies with one quick delicious batter. Headed to a potluck, book club or party and need a variety of cookies in a hurry? Here is the solution! Your friends will be amazed!

Ingredients

  • 1-½ cup Margarine
  • 1-¼ cup White Sugar
  • 1-¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • 3 whole Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 4 cups Flour
  • 5 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Chopped Macadamia Nuts
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter M & Ms
  • 1 cup Plain M & Ms
  • 1 cup Chopped Walnuts
  • 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
  • 3 Tablespoons White Sugar

Preparation

Set the oven to 375 degrees.

Combine margarine, brown sugar, and white sugar in a bowl. Mix until light and fluffy. Mix in eggs and vanilla.

In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, and salt.

Add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture a little bit at a time while mixing, until completely combined.

Now with most recipes, this is the moment when you dump a bag of chocolate chips into the batter. This precisely what we are NOT going to do!

Here is the key to making 7 types of cookie from one batter.

Place 12 spoonfuls of batter onto a cookie sheet.

Add candies and nuts to each dollop of batter as desired.

1. M&M Cookies
2. Peanut Butter M&M Cookies (for a mild peanut buttery taste)
3. Chocolate Chip Cookies
4. Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies
5. White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies
6. Rocky Road Cookies (with chocolate chips, walnuts, and mini marshmallows)
7. Snickerdoodles (for these ones, just roll a bit of batter into a ball in the palm of your hand, then roll the ball and coat it with a cinnamon sugar mixture)

Cook for 9 minutes.

Makes 35 cookies.

If you make all 7 types of cookies, you will have enough batter for 5 of each kind. For 10 of each kind, double the entire recipe.

Enjoy!

I tried this recipe and I really liked the cookies for the most part. I would not recommend using this for snicker-doodles though, not even close to the “real” thing. The others turned out great!
