A great snack any time of the year, but in particular around the holidays. These take less than 5 minutes to make and yield nothing but excitement when gifted to friends and family.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat your oven to 300 F.
During this time, add the pretzels onto the baking sheet in a single layer. Top each pretzel with a Rolo. This is the only time consuming part.
Place tray in the oven, and cook for about 3-5 minutes. Keep an eye on these as you only want the Rolo to slightly soften, not completely melt. Once they begin to soften, remove them from the oven and sprinkle a bit of coarse salt onto each piece of chocolate. Next, shower the baking sheet with the crushed pecans, making sure you lightly coat all of the chocolate.
I placed mine in my cold garage for about 20 minutes to let the Rolos harden up. Once hardened, place on a serving dish and dig in.
Everyone went nuts for these. It’s a perfect bite with the crunch of the pretzel, and that awesome salted chocolate caramel. They were all devoured in one day! Merry Christmas everyone!
