This simple enchilada sauce has all-natural ingredients and can be whipped up in a matter of minutes! You will never buy the canned stuff again!
Heat a small saucepan to medium heat. Add olive oil and garlic and stir for about 20 seconds until garlic is fragrant. Add the chili powder, cumin, oregano, onion powder, hot sauce, garlic salt, and salt and stir mixture for about thirty seconds. Add the tomato sauce and water and stir well. Bring mixture to a light simmer, cover and reduce heat to low. Let mixture simmer 20 minutes.
This makes enough for a 9×13 pan of enchiladas.
