Description

This homemade cookie cake recipe is sure to please, and saves you a trip to the mall (not to mention some cash)!

Ingredients

  • 6 Tablespoons Butter
  • ½ cups Light Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • ½ cups All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 can (12 Oz.) Frosting

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Beat together butter, brown sugar, and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and mix until smooth.

In a separate bowl, mix flours, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet until well incorporated. Add chocolate chips.

Form dough into a large circle, about 1/2 of an inch thick, on a cookie sheet. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool before decorating with frosting.

This is super good. I have made this three times. Every one loves it. Taste just like Nestle Toll house cookie cakes but way cheaper. I will never buy another cookie cake.
