Soft, chewy, melt-in-your-mouth cookies with cherry chips instead of chocolate chips! These are as pretty as they are tasty!
Preheat oven to 375 F.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, almond extract and cherry extract until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Then gradually beat in the flour mixture. And finally, stir in the cherry chips.
Drop by rounded tablespoon onto parchment lined baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10 minutes, or until edges are a very light brown color.
