Description

Fruit slush is delicious, and can be made ahead of time and kept in the freezer until you are ready to serve breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1-⅓ cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 6 ounces, weight Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate, Reconstituted With Below Amount Of Water
  • 18 ounces, fluid Water
  • 1 whole Lemon, Juiced
  • 10 ounces, weight Jar Maraschino Cherries, Halved, With Juice
  • 16 ounces, weight Canned Crushed Pineapple
  • 7 whole Bananas, Peeled And Diced
  • 16 ounces, weight Frozen Sliced Strawberries
  • 20 ounces, fluid 7-up

Preparation

Combine the 1 and 1/3 cup water and the cup of sugar in a microwave safe bowl. Heat in the microwave until boiling, and the sugar is dissolved, about 5 to 8 minutes.

Pour the sugar water into a large bowl. Combine the frozen orange juice concentrate and 18 ounces of water in a pitcher and stir until dissolved then add it and the remaining ingredients into the bowl with the sugar water. Stir to combine. Pour into a shallow pan, or two shallow pans if needed. Cover with a sheet of plastic wrap and freeze.

When ready to serve, remove it from the freezer and let it sit on the counter for about 15 minutes to thaw slightly.
