Description

Soft, spicy cookies with pumpkin spice Hershey Kisses.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1-½ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2-½ cups All-purpose Flour
  • 16 whole Pumpkin Spice Hershey Kisses
  • 1 package Sprinkles (optional)

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 350F.

Cream together the butter and brown sugar. Then add vanilla and 2 eggs. Stir to combine. Then add salt, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg (or four grates of fresh nutmeg on a microplane) and flour.

Once this is all mixed well, add Pumpkin Spice Kisses, roughly chopped. (You can also just top your cookies with Kisses, but these are very soft and sort of settle into themselves as they cook, which makes the cookies tough to stack in a jar.) Mix everything until combined.

Scoop about half a regular spoonful of dough per cookie. Optional: dip into sprinkles and set them sprinkle side up on a baking sheet.

Bake at 350F for 11 minutes, then check the cookies. When cookies are just starting to brown along the edges, they’re done.

These are delicious! We had a bag of the pumpkin spice kisses, and none of us liked to eat them plain. Perfect recipe to use them.
