Description

Dark chocolate and Guinness combine for melty, gooey amazing cookies!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1-½ cup Sugar
  • 2  Eggs
  • ½ cups Guinness Beer
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Dark Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 11 ounces, weight Semisweet Chocolate Chips

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF and prepare sheet pans with Silpats or parchment paper.
2. In the bowl of a standing mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until creamy.
3. Add the eggs and beat until fluffy.
4. Add the Guinness.
5. Combine the dry ingredients and add to the batter. Add the chocolate chips and mix well.
6. Scoop the batter onto the sheet pan, and bake the cookies for 10 minutes. Let the cookies cool on the sheet pan, and enjoy!

Oh my god…these are so good! I made them with regular (not dark) cocoa because that’s all I had. They were maybe a tiny salty (likely my fault for using table salt instead of kosher and not decreasing the amount accordingly), but I just tried a couple warm out of the oven and they were heaven for chocolate lovers. I’m taking them into work tomorrow and I know everyone will love them.
