A little sweet and a little salty. Goes perfectly with milk or yogurt for a nutritious snack or breakfast.
1. Preheat oven to 250F.
2. Mix together oats, flax, sunflower seeds, almonds, and spices.
3. Whisk together sugar, oil, honey, salt, vanilla, and almond extract.
4. Incorporate wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Use your hands if needed. The consistency should be still fairly dry but holding together loosely.
5. Spread evenly on 2 large greased baking sheets (Pam is fine).
6. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring the granola every 15 minutes to ensure even baking and color.
Let cool, store in an airtight container, and enjoy!
