This is a great coffee cake recipe. You can make it the evening before you plan to serve it, and bake it in the morning. Great if you need to take it to work, too!
1. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt; set aside.
2. Cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
4. Add dry ingredients, alternating with buttermilk, beating well after each addition.
5. Spread batter in a greased 3 x 13-inch baking pan.
6. Combine topping ingredients and mix well. Spread over batter.
7. Refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
8. Bake at 35o degrees F for 45 minutes.

I think she means 9 x 13 because it is 3 inches high and maybe something got left out when it was printed. From the recipe it appears to be enough to fill a 9 x 13.

What is a 3 x 13 pan? I haven’t seen those dimensions before…

Made it this past weekend because my family came in to celebrate Christmas! Easy make ahead and just pop in the oven in the AM! A big hit!
