A quick warm mushroomy delight that will warm the cockles of your mushroom-loving heart.
Melt butter in a heavy-bottomed pan and sauté sliced mushrooms for 3 to 5 minutes. Add water and gourmet mushrooms. When mixture comes to a boil, add mushroom base and turn down to a simmer for 10 minutes. Add noodles and cook until noodles are done, about 7 to 9 minutes. Serve with crusty bread. (Firm tofu cut into cubes and added in the last 2 minutes of cooking is a tasty add-on and adds protein.)
