This banana cake is extra moist with just a touch of spice. Perfect for any afternoon tea party or casual brunch.
Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare an 8×8 inch baking pan.
Cream together milk, apple sauce, butter and sugar. Add in egg and mix to combine. Fold in mashed bananas and vanilla and mix again.
Slowly add in flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and baking soda until fully combined.
Pour batter into greased baking dish.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool and dust with powdered sugar.
