Made these yummy donuts this weekend.Love them, easy and so good. They remind me of the donuts we used to get from a cider mill close to my home town. Thanks!

While these donuts didn’t have a notable apple flavor, they are really very delicious. My husband said we are going to call them Spice Cake donuts…because that is what they taste like. Easy to make. I am at 800 ft elevation and I baked them at 325 for 12 minutes. I got 16 donuts out of this recipe. My rodeo drill team devoured 10 of them right off the bat at practice today

This was a good and simple recipe to make. I was hoping for more of an apple flavor, the spices kind of overwhelmed the apple taste in my first batch. Also I’m at about 4000ft altitude and they were still almost raw when I baked them at 325 for 10 minutes. The second batch I made i caramelized some shredded apples on the stove with a little lemon juice and brown sugar and added that to the batter, I turned the heat up to 350 and baked for about 13 minutes, then I added shredded apples to the glaze, and they turned out out really well. Thanks for sharing!

These are crazy easy and they taste AMAZING! From the doughnut to the glaze to the cinnamon and sugar… it’s pretty much fall in doughnut form!

Made these for the first time this morning and they were wonderful! Made the recipe exactly as stated with no variation and they were fast, simple and very easy. I finally have a great recipe for my donut pan.

I looked on her baking site…it’s 3/4 cup of sugar

Noticed the omission of sugar too, so I checked on your blog (3/4 cup). Question though… if I don’t have a doughnut pan, what else could I use as a substitute? Thanks!

Would love to try these, but looks like you omitted the amount of sugar to put in the donut……
