Description
Each year at Christmas, these cookies are shared with approximately 1 dozen people. I love to bake all of my favorites during the holiday, then share with neighbors and friends.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Soft Butter Or Margarine
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 whole Eggs
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Or Vanilla Bean Paste
- 2-½ cups Flour
- ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
- ¼ teaspoons Salt
- 1 cup Finely Ground Nuts, I Like Walnuts
- 30 whole Hershey's Kisses, Unwrapped
Preparation
Cream butter or margarine, sugar, eggs, and vanilla together until light and fluffy. Add flour, soda and salt; mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls, roll in nuts.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet approximately 2 inches apart. Bake at 350ºF for 10 minutes or until cookies are set. Remove from oven and push 1 chocolate kiss into each cookie.
Cool on wire rack until chocolate kisses are firm.
Makes 30 cookies.
