Easy, homemade, delicious!
Wash, peel, and quarter potatos. Spritz crock pot with nonstick cooking spray. Place potatoes in crock pot. Pour water over potatoes until they are almost covered. Add salt, pepper and butter. Turn crock pot to low.
When potatoes are fork tender, after 4-5 hours, add milk and A1 Steak Sauce to the potatoes. Stir once. Cover again and let cook for another 30 minutes. Mash potatoes in the crock pot with fork. Add potato flakes if you need to thicken the soup.
Using a ladle, pour soup into individual bowls. Garnish with cheese and sour cream. Leftovers (if any!) can be thinned with milk before heating.

pert good. used chicken stock instead of water, didn’t really measure, just enuff to cover the spuds. also used condensed milk with a little extra water to bring it up to the two cups ( a little “richer” tasting ). we also like onion in our soup, so in it went. a little dill and a really good recipe got added to the keeper list!
