Description

A yummy cream cheese cookie that is a classic in my family at Christmas time!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 pound Butter, Softened
  • 1 pound Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 1 can (15 0z) Solo Filling (we Like Almond & Apricot)
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar, For Dusting

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt into a large bowl.

By hand, mix butter and cream cheese into sifted dry ingredients. Knead the cookie dough together until smooth.

Lightly flour a surface for rolling out the dough. Roll the dough out into 2-inch or 3-inch squares.

Place 1 tsp. of filling into the middle of the square and fold opposite corners together toward the middle.

Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees until brown, about 20 minutes.

Dust the cookies with powdered sugar while hot.
