The chocolate protein powder packs these pancakes with 40g of protein. They’re delicious and easy to make!
1. Place pecans on a small microwave safe plate; nuke in the microwave on high for 1 minute.
2. Meanwhile, heat your griddle to 400ºF.
3. In a medium bowl, whisk together egg, milk, protein powder and Bisquick mix. Spray the hot griddle with cooking spray or 1 tablespoon butter.
4. Pour in slightly less than 1/4 cupfuls onto greased griddle. Cook until bubbles break on the surface of the pancakes. Flip and cook until golden brown. (Takes about 1–2 minutes per side.)
5. Pour syrup in a glass measuring cup and nuke for 30 seconds in the microwave. Place pancakes on a warm plate. Top with banana slices, pecans and syrup. Serve warm.
Note: Pancakes can be stored in a ziplock bag in the fridge for 3 days. Reheat in a toaster oven.
