Description

Delicious spring dish that kids will love! Takes a bit of time.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound, 1-⅔ ounces, weight Potatoes
  • 2 pounds, 3-⅓ ounces, weight Asparagus
  • 1 teaspoon Salt, Sugar And Lemon Juice, For Asparagus Water
  • ½ pounds, ⅞ ounces, weight Gorgonzola Cheese
  • 1 pound, 1-⅔ ounces, weight Noodles
  • 1 cup, 2-⅔ teaspoons, ⅞ pinches Cream
  • 1 bunch Parsley
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Preparation

1. Wash potatoes and cut into 1/2 inch pieces. Preheat the oven to 180-200° Celsius (350-400° Fahrenheit)
2. Wash and peel asparagus.
3. Cut the Gorgonzola cheese into 1/4 inch pieces.
4. Cover a baking tray with baking paper and put the potato pieces on the tray. Disperse them well over the tray. Sprinkle some oil over the potatoes, season them with salt and pepper. Bake for approximately 30-40 minutes.
5. Meanwhile heat a big pot with water, add about a teaspoon of salt, sugar and lemon juice. When the water is boiling add the asparagus. Cook for approximately 15-20 minutes.
6. Cook the pasta according to the indications on the packing.
7. Heat the cream in another pot until it is almost boiling. Add the gorgonzola cheese and let it slowly melt. Be careful with the seasoning. The cheese is quite salty already.
8. While waiting for the dish to be finished get some fresh parsley, wash it and cut it into small pieces for further seasoning and decoration.
9. Put everything on the table and serve it up to your preference! Enjoy!
