Stock one less item in your pantry. Variations galore make this a great substitute and not a compromise.
Great for breakfast or an anytime snack.
Using a toaster oven, toast bread to your liking. Keeping the toast on the rack, pile on the chocolate chips and close the toaster door.
As the chocolate chips melt from the residual heat, get out your peanut butter (or nut butter of choice). Open the toaster door and put a tablespoon of peanut butter on top of the (now shiny) chocolate chips. Close the toaster door for a few seconds to soften the peanut butter, then take out your toast and spread the mixture.
Best with a glass of cold milk.

Dark chocolate chips and organic peanut butter are staples in our home. Let me know what combinations you try and recommend!
