Description

This stew is different because it slightly sweeter than what you expect with a stew.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Beef Stew Meat
  • 1 cup Water
  • ½ cups Japanese Sake (dry White Wine)
  • ¼ cups Sugar
  • ¼ cups Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ pounds Baby Carrot
  • 3 whole Potatoes, Peeled And Chopped
  • 1 whole White Onion, Diced
  • 1 can (4 Oz. Can) Sliced Mushrooms, Drained

Preparation

Put all (except mushrooms) into a crock pot and cook on low for 10–12 hours or on high for 4–6 hours. About 2 hours before the stew is done, add the mushrooms and continue to cook. Stir before serving.
