Prepare the night before and bake in the morning for an easy and effortless breakfast!
Beat eggs and stir in milk, vanilla, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well mixed.
Dip sliced french bread quickly into batter and then arrange in a 9 x 13 well buttered baking dish making all bread pieces fit. Pour any remaining egg batter evenly over slices of french bread. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 F.
In a medium mixing bowl, mix together the praline topping ingredients and then pour over uncovered battered french bread slices.
Bake for 40-60 minutes or until puffy and golden brown.
