I love fudge and I love the flavor of maple syrup. So the two combined equals…well you know…HEAVEN!!
Mix flour and sugar in sauce pan. Mix in maple syrup, Karo, and milk or cream. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, to soft ball stage, 232-236 degrees.
Remove from heat and drop butter on top. Let cool to lukewarm, beat until the glossy look begins to leave. Pour quickly into buttered pan.
Nuts may be added. When cool cut into 24 squares. Enjoy

I made this for the Christmas goodie bags for my husbands co-workers. everyone that got some loved it. His boss even took his out of his bag before taking the goodies home so he wouldn’t have to share it with his family. Defiantly a keeper and i will be making it again next year.
