Description

Soft, delicious molasses cookies you’ll want to make a family tradition out of.

Ingredients

  • 4-½ cups Flour
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Dark Full Flavor Molasses (not Blackstrap)
  • ½ cups Brewed Coffee, Cooled
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoons Cloves
  • ⅛ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Sugar (for Rolling)
  • 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon (for Rolling)

Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients except the sugar and cinnamon that you will be using to roll the cookies in. Set that aside for later.

Mix ingredients fully for about 3-4 minutes. Cover mixing bowl will Saran wrap and place in the fridge for about two hours or until the dough gets nice and firm.

Preheat oven to 350F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

Scoop up 1 rounded teaspoonful of dough and drop it in the sugar and cinnamon mixture you set aside. Roll dough until completely covered and place on the lined cookie sheet. Repeat the process, placing cookies about 2 inches apart.

Cook for 15 minutes. And enjoy.
