Description

This gluten free, dairy free and vegan Chocolate Sorbet uses only 3 ingredients and is super yummy to boot!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • ¼ cups Agave Nectar
  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips 73% Cacao

Preparation

In a medium saucepan, heat water and agave, stirring until agave is dissolved. Remove from heat, mix in chocolate chips, stir until chocolate chips are completely melted.

Blend mixture in a Vita-Mix (or other high speed blender). Cool mixture in freezer for 1 hour. Add to your ice cream maker, following directions per your machine. Serve.

Makes about 1 quart.

What am I missing, why is mixing in the Vitamix necessary if everything is already melted together?

mmmm!!! Really chocolatey – I used regular chocolate chips (I’m not vegan, and that’s what we had on hand). We have some milk and egg allergies, so I’m always on the lookout for dairy and egg-free recipes – this was perfect. Amazing with fresh strawberries cut up on top!
