I made this last night to try ahead of time for a small gathering we are having tomorrow. My husband and his parents raved. I was also quite pleased with how easy, pretty, and delish the cake was! I withheld the espresso powder, but followed the rest to the T. Sprinkled with powder sugar and served with dark chocolate espresso bean. Marking this for a favorite!!

I made this today for an aunt (and her family) that has a major gluten allergy. It was super yummy!!!! I would like to note that if you use powdered sugar, this becomes negates the “gluten free” since powdered sugar has cornstarch in it. This could have been really bad for my aunt had I not looked at the back of the ingredient list for powdered sugar. But all in all, this is absolutely a keeper recipe! Thank you!!!

This is a different twist on the average flourless cake, a little more sophisticated. I will be giving this a try, thanks for sharing.

I made this for a gluten intolerant friend and it turned out so well! I didn’t realize until after I’d started that I was short one egg, so I made the cake with 5 whole eggs instead of 6, but it didn’t seem to suffer from it. The top of the cake formed a crispy meringue-like crust and the center was fudgey and ooey gooey and delicious!
