Description

A creamy delicious change to the usual red chili. It’s easy to make and is a family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Turkey, Browned
  • 3 stalks Celery, Chopped
  • ½ whole Onion, Chopped
  • 1 package (about 1 Oz. Package) Chi Chi's Seasoning
  • 3 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Full, Low, Or Non-fat
  • 8 ounces, weight Sour Cream, Full, Low, Or Non-fat
  • 1 can (10.75 Oz. Can) Cream Of Chicken Soup
  • 1 can (4 Oz. Can) Chopped Green Chilies
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Butter Beans
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Butter Beans Southern Style
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Navy Beans
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Can) White Corn, Drained
  • 1 can (14 Oz. Can) Chicken Broth

Preparation

Brown the turkey, celery and onions and drain any fat. Stir in the seasoning mix.

In a large pot (stovetop) or crockpot, add the reamining ingredients and the turkey mixture. If using non-fat cream cheese, melt it in the microwave before adding.

Cook on low until the desired thickness.

Serve with toppings of your choice: chopped green onion, Jack cheese, tortilla strips, etc.

You must use the Chi Chi brand seasoning mix becasue it is green and not red. The southern style beans are Glory Brand and if you can’t find them, use any white bean with jalepenos added.
