Excellent! I didn’t know I only had one tsp. of cumin left in my jar, and I didn’t have any ancho powder, so my soup was lacking a tiny bit in the flavor department, but that was my fault. I can’t wait to make it again with the right seasonings! I only used half of a big jalapeno because of my kiddos, and after letting it simmer a good hour, it was perfect, just a hint of spice. Love this!

took this to a chruch dinner in a crock pot and it was a hit! delish! i will be making it again and again, 2 ppl wanted recipes!

Fantastic Flavor and Easy Peasy…this soup has so much depth of flavor…I made it as the recipe reads with the exception of the Jalapeno…just because I didn’t have any. I will make this soup again and again. The cilantro and a dollop of Sour Cream sets it off perfectly…Thank you so much for adding!

This is such a thick and hearty soup, even after adding 4 cups of chicken broth. My hubby commented that if someone can’t get full after a bowl of this soup, there’s something wrong! It was pretty easy to make, and the only thing we noticed is that we had to add cracked black pepper and a little sea salt to beef up the flavor. Could be that I used whole milk instead of half-and-half or cream. Otherwise, this smells amazing, and tastes even better! Thanks for sharing!

My husband and I loved this. Very easy to make and it has a nice flavor. I even used non fat milk and it came out great.
