Yum, yum, yum! A great colourful dish to bring to a potluck, picnic or barbeque. Also great to pack in a lunch – it keeps well for several days.

Pretty darn tasty. Try ‘em and see for yourself. My crew likes ‘em with BBQ sauce as a dip, a side of burnt broccoli, and mashed or baked potatoes.

The best of both worlds and easy to make to boot.

A super quick and easy spiced banana bread that is really versatile!
A fluffy, cream way to serve grits. Also good cold.
This is one of my favorite recipes from the pot luck dinners my parents had when I was little. I’ve changed it quite a bit since 1977.

Pork chops topped with sauteed onions and sliced apples – this is the perfect fall meal to me. Cinnamon gives it a nice warm flavor, enhancing the apples as well as the pork chops. Garlic mashed potatoes are a great side dish for these moist, delicious chops.

I made this up off the top of my head one night when I just COULD NOT decide what to have for dinner. It’s kind of a pantry cleaner for me, and it’s DELISH!

Heather is a Texas native and the blogger behind Heather's Dish. She's mom to Weston, wife to Nate, and they live in Little Rock, Arkansas with their two "stubborn and saucy" dogs Bunker and Keira. In her blog, she shares her photographs, random musings (serious and silly alike), and all kinds of scrumptious recipes---and not just evil variations of her favorite mac and cheese. Her enviable TK recipe box is a testament to that. Go see for yourself!
