A great dip for any occasion!
I like them sweet, super flavorful, and a bit soupy. I based this on Julia Child’s 16 hour bean recipe but adapted it a bit. Cooking time can vary. You can adjust for sweetness, soupiness, type of mustard, etc.

This is a traditional Colombian cake that I grew up with! Very different from other cakes: no icing, very moist and topped with sugar! It’s traditionally filled with blackberry jam, but you can substitute any other flavor.

Easy to make, especially if you’ve worked with yeast before. If not, I still recommend you give this a shot.

I bake this every Christmas (and Thanksgiving) morning! Bake these while brewing a big pot of coffee early in the morning, and you’ll be sure to get everybody out of bed! Nuts can easily be added, but I omit them only because a majority of my family doesn’t like nuts.

Better than your average baked beans!
