Spiced curry lamb burgers with lemon herb sauce and tomato cucumber salad inspired by our adventure in Greece!
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meats together with the cinnamon, curry, cumin, garlic, onion, pepper flakes and ginger. Shape into patties. Fire up the grill and cook burgers as desired, until meat registers at least 160ºF on a meat thermometer.
Meanwhile, combine the ingredients for the lemon herb sauce. Set aside.
Assemble burgers on pita shells or buns with lettuce, drizzled with sauce. Excellent served with a fresh side or salsa-type topping.
