Description

This Paleo Sticky Honey Chicken is a perfect, quick meal for busy weeknights. It takes little time to make, and is a delicious soy-free, gluten-free meal!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cups Tapioca Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • 1 pound Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs
  • ¼ cups Honey
  • ¼ cups Coconut Aminos
  • ¼ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Ginger
  • 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil
  • Green Onions, Sliced, For Topping (optional)
  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds (optional)

Preparation

In a mixing bowl, add tapioca flour, salt and pepper. Dice chicken into bite-sized pieces and add to the bowl. Toss until chicken is evenly coated with the mixture.

Add honey, coconut aminos, garlic powder and ginger to a bowl and whisk until thoroughly combined.

Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 3 minutes on each side, until lightly browned.

Add sauce to the pan and lower the heat. Cook until sauce has thickened and chicken is cooked through, about 5 more minutes. Remove from heat.

Top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds and serve as desired. Enjoy!
