Description

This cake is delicious! A vanilla cake infused with white chocolate, a layer of fudge, and a white chocolate icing to top it off. Delicious!!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE CAKE:
  • 1 box (18.25 Oz. Box) White Cake Mix
  • 1 package (3.4 Oz. Box) White Chocolate Pudding
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 3 ounces, weight Melted White Chocolate
  • _____
  • FOR THE ICING:
  • 1 can (16 Oz. Can) Vanilla Icing
  • 3 ounces, weight Melted White Chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 8 ounces, weight Cool Whip
  • _____
  • FOR THE FUDGE FILLING:
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 6 ounces, weight Melted Chocolate (Semi-sweet Or Milk)
  • 2 Tablespoons Corn Syrup
  • ¼ cups Powdered Sugar

Preparation

Icing:
Mix a can of vanilla icing and melted white chocolate together. Then add in vanilla and lastly fold in the Cool Whip. Refrigerate.

Fudge Filling:
Next make the fudge filling. Heat butter until melted and then stir in the melted chocolate and corn syrup. Lastly, stir in sifted powdered sugar. Refrigerate.

Cake:
Prepare cake mix according to the directions on the box. Mix in vanilla, pudding powder, and melted white chocolate.

Place cake batter evenly into 2 greased, round cake pans. Cook according to the directions on the cake mix box. Allow cake layers to cool before putting cake together.

Putting it all together: 1st cake layer, fudge filling, 2nd cake layer, and then ice the entire cake. Refrigerate cake until ready to serve.

I have also made this in a 9×13 pan, and assembled it as follows: cake, fudge layer, icing. It is a bit easier this way if you aren’t trying to impress anyone. :)
