Description

These cocoa brownettes are quick to make and use ingredients that you probably already have on hand!

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 10 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 4 whole Eggs, Lightly Beaten
  • 1-½ cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir together the butter and cocoa. Add the sugar and beat well. Add the eggs, flour, salt and vanilla and mix until combined. Don’t over mix. Grease two muffin pans and fill 3/4 with brownie batter. Bake for about 15 minutes or until set.

Invert brownettes onto a cooling rack. Dust with powdered sugar if desired. Alternatively, the brownie batter can be poured into a 13×9 baking pan for regular brownies.

I made these for my book club. Super fast, easy, and delicious! I love that each individual brownie has the crispy edges from the muffin tins, but the insides were so moist. I was nervous about taking them out after 15 minutes since they still looked pretty gooey, but I’m glad I just went with it. They were awesome! Will definitely make again!
