My family LOVED this recipe! This is going in our “Keeper” file. I love a creamy texture so I left out the coconut. Instead I toasted some sweetened coconut until it was warm and crunchy and sprinkled it on the top. OMG! Thank you again for the recipe!

those of us in the family who like coconut LOVED this! the rest got to eat store-bought vanilla……poor sops.

This was delicious! Reminded me of the coconut ice cream you get in the Caribbean, nothing like store bought. Next time I will also probably leave out the toasted coconut so it has a smoother texture & just put some toasted coconut on top.
