Description

A very easy “desserty” twist on a fruit salad. It’s light and fruity with the added bonus of chocolate and caramel.

Ingredients

  • 6 whole Snickers Candy Bars (2 Ounce Bars)
  • 6 whole Granny Smith Apples
  • 1 container Cool Whip (16 Ounce)

Preparation

1.) Freeze Snickers bars for 1.5-2 hours, or until frozen.
2.) Carefully slice Snicker bars into small pieces, about the size of 1/4 of a mini Snickers bar, or however large you would like your Snickers chunks to be!
3.) Peel and dice each apple.
4.) Combine entire container of Cool Whip, and all but 1/4 cup of the Snickers pieces into a large mixing bowl, and mix thoroughly.
5.) Add diced Granny Smith apples to Cool Whip and Snickers mixture, mix until thoroughly combined.
6.) Chill for 30 minutes, then top the mixture with remaining Snickers pieces and serve.

7carin7: Sounds so yummy! I will definitely give it a try the next time I make this!! Which will hopefully be soon, of course :)

Definitely try it with vanilla pudding! It is awesome!! We always make that for family things in the Fall! Prepare a large box of instant pudding and then mix in the Cool Whip before adding the apples and snickers! We’ve also added some Heath toffee bits as well! Yum!!

I love this stuff!!! I usually add some prepared vanilla pudding to mine, too. It adds even more creaminess to it! Thanks for sharing! I had forgotten about this great recipe!
