This crunchy sweet goodness is intoxicating. Smoky, then sweet. Oh wait, what’s that? Ahh, a delicate smack of maple.

Three layer fudge that is simply divine. It’s a Christmas tradition at our house, but just as good any time of year.

Wow! I’m amazed at how easy this looks and I love truffles. I will definitely try this as soon as I finish the truffles in my cabinet.

Question for ya. Do you have to use a flavoring? What if you just like plain chocolate?
Sweet Anna's on 9.16.2009
You could leave out the flavoring… but I would suggest at least adding a little bit of vanilla extract, for depth. Or you could use a chocolate liqueur!

So I made these and they are amazing! I have to have alot of control to not eat all of them in one sitting. I switched up the recipe a bit though. Instead of using 2 cups of bittersweet chocolate I used 1 cup bittersweet and 1 cup Andes mint chips. Awesome recipe and super easy!

mmm…. Andes mint chips sound good!!! And I LOVE that you changed things up… I’m all about that!
) I myself am dying to try them with white chocolate soon…

I love good, simple chocolate truffles! I can’t wait to try these. I’m thinking of using kahlua, maybe even try it with different types of chocolate chips.

Oh my these are the best! My sister freaked they taste like her favorite truffes that she gets at Christmas. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
