For Cake:
Combine peanut butter and softened butter until creamy. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Add cake mix alternately with water. Stir just until combined. Pour into two 8″ round cake pans and bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
For the frosting:
Combine peanut butter and softened butter until fluffy. Add 4 cups of powdered sugar. Then mix 1/2 cup heavy cream (or milk) to spreading consistency.
Slice cake layers in 1/2 so you have four layers. Frost between all layers and then frost the rest of cake.
I think adding chocolate to this frosting would be fabulous!
